From Prom to Weddings

Now that prom season has come to an endand graduations are happening all over town, it is time for us to switch our focus from teenagers to brides-to-be.

As you know, we at Zen love our updo's and formal make-up and now that we have taken care of our beloved teenage clientele we are ready to dive head first into wedding season.

We begin each wedding season the same way, with lots of trials for the brides-to-be to guarantee that we have a game plan for the day of, as bridal updo's tend to take a bit more time than others since we must make sure each and every hair is flawless and often we are adding in extensions, jeweled clips, tiaras, veils etc. It's not just about the brides either, we take care of everyone involved in the big day; mothers, bridesmaids, flower girls etc. Wedding days are a big party in the salon with mimosas, muffins, families, friends and photographers. With that in mind, it is necessary to make sure that we stay on schedule and keep the energy in the salon positive.
