Darker or more yellow / golden-toned skins suit golden or honey hues;
Try these tests out-
"...get two sheets of paper or material with two different tones and put them next to your skin to judge which makes you look fresher, because too much of either can wash you out." -Heart.co.uk
"...look at the veins on your wrist; if they're mostly blue and purple you have a cool undertone, if they are mostly green you have a warm undertone and if they are a mix of both you have a neutral undertone" -Cosmopolitan
2. Platinum Beauty Is Pain... and Patience
Platinum blonde requires regular trips to the salon, whereas Ombre requires far less maintenance.
Keeping on-top of your upkeep is important – it’s better for your hair to get your roots done often (and only having to use a teeny bit of bleach) than waiting ages and having to go for a full head again.
Commit to being in the salon every 3-4 weeks (at least!).
3. PURPLE is the new shampoo
Going blonde requires higher levels of ammonia or bleaching products. You will notice a texture change in your hair that most likely will require less shampooing and more conditioning.
You can find Aveda and Loma purple shampoos, especially made for your transition to blonde!
